What we Believe

A confession is a written statement of beliefs that are important not only for you to know what you believe and why you believe it, but is crucial to our teaching new believers and passing the true faith on to our children.  Our beliefs are taken from the New Hampshire Confession of 1833, being in harmony with the doctrines of older confessions (1644 London, 1689 London, & 1742 Philadelphia ), this stream of historic Baptist teachings are essential in safe guarding our discipleship and protecting our doctrine.

Because Christ Jesus is our first, last, and only hope:

"10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:"

Because we are the Body of Christ Christianity is not "individualistic", a society of "Lone Rangers".  We are to assemble, love, and encourage both growth and discipline because we are a people, the people of God.  A covenant of membership along with the Constitution and By-Laws of the church give us understanding, accountability, and unity.
